Pongo was in a shelter for two years waiting for his forever home after he was rescued from the street. He has just recently made the journey to his forever home and new family. His name is now Fozzie and he’s settled in well so his family tells us, its lovely to hear from them and what fantastic photos and message from them today….Here is what his new Family told us today:-

As promised please find pictures of Fozzie attached. Fozzie is settling down very well. He is such a happy dog. He wags his tail such a lot. He is quite playful and likes to steal slippers. He has also taken a shine to the feather duster. We thought we could tie it to his tail and he could do all the dusting for us!! He has been in the garden pond, by accident we think because he gives it a wide berth now. He is now getting on well with Eddie and they sometimes have a game of, ‘chase me,’ around the house. He is turning out to be a good guard dog and has a bark like a Rottweiler. He has met all our friends and their dogs who walk around the local nature reserve and gets on well with all of them. He is a very popular lad and has been easily accepted into the pack. Yesterday, we went to our friend Jean’s for lunch, she is also an animal lover and was quite taken with him. She was impressed with his good behaviour and how well he coped with the situation and meeting the other visitors she had. Fozzie and Eddie wore themselves out chasing each other around the flower beds. We had to stop them in the end because neither of them wanted to give in. When we left, Jean said, ‘you can leave Fozzie with me if you like!’

Happy new life Fozzie.
